Why Stanchions Toronto

Three things that decide most orders

Depth of stock, how fast you hear back, and whether we can get to you at short notice. Everything else is detail.

  • 1000+ stanchions in stock

We hold over 1000 stanchions, so a large order is filled from stock. Everything that arrives is the same model and the same finish, so a long line looks uniform from one end to the other.

  • A quote back within a few hours

Tell us the dates, which products and quantities you need, and the event address. We send back an itemised quote, usually within a few hours. Our pricing page is there if you want to look first.

  • Same-day delivery when you need it

Booking earlier is better, and peak dates fill up — award season, spring and summer weddings, December corporate evenings. But there is no minimum notice and every order is welcome, including same-day when something has gone wrong and you need equipment on site this afternoon.

How it works

Four steps from enquiry to pickup. Starting rates for everything we rent are on the pricing page.

  1. Send a request

The dates, which products and quantities you need, and the event address. Only your email is required to start — everything else can follow.

  2. We quote back

An itemised quote, usually within a few hours, with delivery worked out for your address and the size of the order.

  3. Your order is reserved

Once the order is paid in full, the equipment is held for your dates. That is what takes it out of the pool for everyone else.

  4. We deliver and pick up

Delivered to the venue inside your access window and collected after the event. Setup and teardown by our crew are optional.

Who we work with

Events, in every shape Toronto runs them. The equipment is the same; what changes is how much of it, and where it goes.

  • Brand activations & product launches

A controlled entrance, a route past the thing you are launching, and a clean frame for the photographs.

  • Festivals, concerts & live shows

Barriers for the perimeter and the stage front, belt stanchions inside the fence for gates, bars and accreditation.

  • Corporate events & conferences

Registration that clears at the start of the day, lanes labelled so delegates sort themselves before they reach a desk.

  • Galas & award nights

A runner from the door, rope stanchions either side, and an entrance that looks considered when the doors open.

  • Film & TV shoots

Holding areas, press lines and public routes kept clear of the working set, in posts that stay unobtrusive on camera.

  • Weddings & private functions

An arrivals walk, a ceremony aisle, and a rope colour chosen to agree with the room rather than fight it.

Common questions

Do you have enough stock for a large event?

Almost certainly. We hold 1000+ stanchions, plus barriers and carpet runners, so an order in the hundreds is routine rather than something we have to go looking for. Send your numbers and dates with the enquiry and we will confirm availability in writing before you commit to anything.

Do you rent to individuals, or only to event companies?

Both. Event planners and production companies make up a lot of what we do, but there is nothing different about an order from someone organising their own evening — same equipment, same quote, same delivery. You do not need a company name to ask.

Can you hold equipment before our date is confirmed?

We can tell you what is available and quote it, but the stock is not held until the order is paid in full — that is the point at which it comes out of the pool for your dates. Booking earlier is better for exactly that reason, though there is no minimum notice and same-day is available when you need it.

What happens if our numbers change before the event?

Tell us as soon as you know and we will re-quote. Numbers moving between the enquiry and the event is normal — a floor plan changes, a guest list grows, a room gets swapped — and it is far easier to adjust an order in advance than to solve it at the venue on the day.

What colours does each product come in?

Rope stanchion posts come in gold, black and polished chrome, with the rope end caps matched to the post. Belt stanchion posts come in black and polished chrome. Carpet runners come in five colours.
